It's November, which means Native American Heritage month AND Veteran's Day!
This is my busiest month of the year, every day but the weekends (with the exception of one Saturday) is full! If you are interested in catching one of my Living Voices shows, there are a few public performances this month!
I am mostly performing Native Vision, which touches on boarding school history and Native American service in the military during World War II. I will also be doing two public performances of the piece about Japanese internment during WWII.
These shows both honor under-represented stories of Veterans who proudly and bravely served a nation that treated them like second class citizens. Come and commemorate the rarely visited histories of the Navajo Code Talkers and the 442nd Regimental Combat team.
